SPIRO PALMER
President & CEO

As the founding principal of Palmer Properties since 1978, Spiro leads the team and focuses on the execution of current projects and the creation of new opportunities. He is known for his commitment to building strong relationships and lasting partnerships while improving the options local businesses have to operate in. Under his leadership, Palmer has developed and managed in excess of 1 million square feet of office, retail and mixed-use projects. Spiro is also known for being actively involved in the community playing key roles in several local non-profit organizations.

AKI PALMER
Director | Partner

As Director and Partner of Palmer Investment & Development as well as Director at Cushman & Wakefield, Aki oversees the entire portfolio of commercial and retail development and investments.  He specializes in structuring partnerships with both silent investors and owner/users to maximize leverage and minimize risk. Aki holds a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Real Estate & Finance from Colorado State University.

JIM PALMER
Director | Partner | Employing Broker

As Director, Partner, and Employing Broker for Palmer Properties, Jim’s focus includes acquisitions, dispositions, and lease negotiations.  He plays a lead role in the management of the entitlement process and project investment analysis. Jim holds a degree in Real Estate Finance & Construction Management from the University of Denver, Daniels College of Business.

Tom hoogendyk

Chief operating officer I Chief Financial Officer

Tom joined the Palmer Team in 2020, bringing with him over 45 years of accounting and consulting expertise. He has extensive experience in real estate taxation, tax strategy, tax protests, strategic planning and implementation, investment networking, company expansion, and merger & acquisition consulting services. He has directly served over 800 businesses in Northern Colorado alone. He holds a degree in Accounting from the University of Northern Colorado. Tom continues to be very active in supporting our community by serving on over 15 boards throughout the past 20 years.

BROOKE TAMLIN, CMCA
Director of Operations and Development | Broker Associate

Brooke joined Palmer Properties in 2003 and has been vital to the company’s growth and development.  Brooke provides strategic oversight of the real estate management team, oversees company financial operations, and provides financial analysis of new projects.  A Fort Collins native, Brooke holds a degree in Real Estate & Finance from Colorado State University. She is a Colorado Associate Broker and Certified Manager of Community Associations.

TERA BEGGS, CMCA
Senior Real Estate Manager | Broker Associate

As a senior manager at Palmer Properties since 2007, Tera oversees a mixed portfolio of commercial retail and office projects and works closely with each property owner ensuring the success of each property.  Tera graduated Cum Laude from Colorado State University. She is a Colorado Associate Broker and Certified Manager of Community Associations.

Lisa Brown
Property Manager

Lisa has been in commercial real estate for over 25 years. She joined Palmer Properties in 2018 to support the growth of their property management division. Her expertise is retail shopping centers but has also administered mixed-use, medical, and industrial portfolios.

JUDY GREGORY
Controller | Human Resources Coordinator

As Controller and Human Resource Coordinator, Judy oversees all accounting and internal personnel functions for Palmer Properties.  Judy holds a degree in Accounting & Finance from Western Michigan University.

Dena Sanders, CPA
Controller

Dena oversees all accounting and internal control functions for Palmer Construction. She also helps maintain financial reporting for Palmer Investment & Development. In addition to 10+ years of accounting experience and a Master’s Degree in Accounting from Colorado State University, Dena also holds a CPA license.

HILLARY HAWKINS
principal executive assistant | marketing director

Hillary joined Palmer Properties in January 2020 as our Director of Marketing with a background in marketing and real estate. She assumed the additional role of Principal Executive Assistant in April 2020, supporting the partners of our organization. She is a CSU alum, graduating Magna Cum Laude in Communication Studies and is a Colorado Associate Broker.

SUZANNE BOUCHARD
Assistant Property Manager

Suzanne joined Palmer Properties in 2013 supporting the property management team with daily coordination of properties, tenant communication, maintenance requests, and billing. She has a proven track record for improving processes and strengthening our relationships with our tenants and partners.

Dalton Keane
Property Accounting Assistant

Dalton joined Palmer Properties in 2019 and supports the Property Management team with day-to-day operations, AIR, and financials. Dalton holds degrees in both finance and accounting from the University of Iowa.

JERRY JOHNSON
Facilities Manager

Jerry manages the maintenance team at Palmer Properties providing 24/7 property management and day-to-day execution of repairs, maintenance, and improvements.  Jerry holds an associate degree from Aims Community College, a State of Colorado Electrical Certification, and served in the United States Army.

MIKE LYNCH
Construction Manager

As Palmer Construction Services Construction Manager, Mike facilitates construction projects including tenant finishes, property renovations, and capital improvements.  Mike holds a degree in Accounting from Central Washington University and is a licensed General Contractor.

I've leased my retail space for the past 10 years with Palmer Properties managing the space. They have been great to work with and always react promptly to requests for maintenance issues or issues that arise from time to time with other tenants, or customers utilizing the property. It has been a great partnership between my organization and the Palmer Properties team.
